A makerspace is an area where you can design, build, and play using materials. The library has been set up as a makerspace this week to give you the opportunity to think like an engineer and try out some new materials that were purchased. There are five stations set up for you to explore. Some of the new materials you’ll use are the ProBot and Kibo robots. Have fun!
Create a symmetrical butterfly on the iPads. In art this week, you’ll use the Kaleido app to help you with this project.
Create a slideshow that shows where you are in your neighborhood, town, state, country, continent, and planet. Each week you’ll work on one or more pages in Kid Pix. Today you will type sentences using Stationary Studio. Choose a theme you like; it could be an animal, sport, or food. Then type at least 3 sentences about it. Your name should be typed at the bottom of the page. Save and print when finished.
Review digraphs using the Nearpod app on the iPad. Your teacher will share her screen and present information and activities for you to participate with on your own iPad.

Spelling City is a website where you can have fun practicing your spelling words. On the homepage, enter your words. Then, you can choose test me, teach me, or play a game. Click on the link below to start. Have fun!
Make a word search using your spelling words. Once your puzzle is named, you can choose to create one with up to 10 words (small) or 15 words (big). The larger puzzle allows for words to show diagonally. Once finished, leave your puzzle open on your computer for a classmate to solve.
