Using objects in your classroom, make a model of two sets (that add to 10 or less). Open Pic Collage and select freestyle. Take a picture using the Camera on your iPad. Next, type a number sentence that goes with your picture. Finally change the background and type your name. You can make another model and follow the same steps if you have time. Share with a classmate when finished.
What is cyberbullying? How is it different from bullying? On your iPad, open the video, The Power of Words. As you watch the video, it will pause and ask questions along the way. When finished, log into Digital Passport and play one round of the Evolve module. If you have extra time, you can head to Kind Kingdom on Interland:
Today you will use Stationary Studio to type at least three sentences containing trick words that you are learning. Open Stationary Studio and choose a theme that you like from School & Home. Type your first sentence and be sure to start it with a capital and end with a period. Skip a line and type your next sentence. Continue typing until you finish. Ask a teacher to check and help you save your document.
Create a slideshow using Google Slides that displays all seven continents. Begin by inserting the text needed on all your slides, then search Google Earth for the photos to include as pictures. Follow the checklist given by your teacher.
Create a slideshow about the animal you researched using the Google Slides app on the iPad. Your slides will have information about what the animal looks like, where it lives, what it eats, and interesting facts you learned. Add pictures and transitions between the slides too. The last slide is the video you created with ChatterPix. You will need to use the web based app of Google Slides to add transitions and upload the video.
Place items in a treasure chest and type an equation that shows the total using Kid Pix. Look for the treasure chest scene under backgrounds. Use the stamp tool to find objects. They should fit inside and total 10 or less. Type your equation with the text tool. You will practice saving to your folder when finished.
Learn how to use the features in Google Slides by creating a slideshow that tells about you. Your slides will include an interest you have, favorite things, and a place you like to go to. You’ll include facts in your slides and learn how to give credit to the sources you used.
Create a book using the My Story app that illustrates where you are on the planet, continent, country, state, and town. You’ll practice inserting photos, taking screen shots from Google Earth, and using QR codes. Once your book is finished, record your voice telling about each page.
